Restoring dignity to Montréal’s most vulnerable citizens

In operation since 1889, the Old Brewery Mission (the “Mission”) is Montréal’s largest homelessness organization, dedicated to improving urban health through prevention programs, emergency services with psychosocial support, and rehousing initiatives. With over 300 employees and 14 facilities across the city, the Mission assists more than 1,000 individuals daily through its comprehensive array of services.

In light of the massive increase in homelessness nationwide, including a 30% rise in Montreal alone, and the growing complexity of issues faced by the unhoused, the Mission believes that a focus on continuous support and sustainable, upstream solutions can significantly transform this reality.

Power Corporation has long supported the Old Brewery Mission in its quest to find lasting solutions to homelessness, helping individuals transition off the streets and empowering them to secure permanent housing.

In light of the alarming rise in homelessness in our metropolis, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Power Corporation for their generous support. Thanks to donors like them, we can continue to break the cycle of homelessness through our prevention, emergency, and rehousing programs. Together, we are building a better future for those who need it most
