Helping students with intellectual disabilities at school and in the transition to adult life

Power Corporation is proud to support Les Petits Rois Foundation, which for over 20 years has been a key extracurricular resource for 400 children with special needs (the “Petits Rois”), enabling enriching experiences both at school and in the wider world.

The Foundation ensures that students with intellectual disabilities and related disorders, whether or not they fall within the autism spectrum, can take part in educational and social activities that stimulate their imagination and enhance their motor skills and self-esteem. The Foundation’s mission reflects the values of Power Corporation and recalls the importance of inclusion and social participation for people with different abilities.

Thanks to their distinctive training programs, the Foundation also helps Petits Rois over the age of 21 to enter the workforce under the supervision of specialized facilitators. The Foundation is also planning to open a “smart” home accommodating eight young adults with moderate or severe intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders that will ensure them guidance, special support and attention.

Les Petits Rois is the story of hundreds of children and young people living with intellectual disabilities and autism. Rather that simply being told, it was to be lived.
