The YMCA of Greater Toronto is a charity empowering people with essential services, opportunities to better their lives, and a sense of community. People of all ages, backgrounds and walks of life gain opportunities to reach their full potential with dignity, thanks to programs and initiatives designed to bring people together and inspire positive change.

Throughout its 170-year history, the YMCA of Greater Toronto has worked to address the most urgent needs in its community – from unemployment, to social isolation, poverty, inequity, and more. Today, across 440+ locations, the charity provides safe spaces for teens; licensed child care; employment services; support for immigrants; shelters and wraparound supports for youth without housing; mental health and substance use counselling; camps; food banks; health and fitness programs; volunteer opportunities; and many more essential services that promote equity and help people advance their well-being.

Through good and dark times, the YMCA of Greater Toronto has shown its ability to create close and lasting ties with its community and assist those who need it. Having a business presence in Toronto, Power Corporation is proud to support the charity in helping people overcome obstacles and reach their true potential.
