Creating the Next Generation of Conservationists in Canada

The Earth Rangers movement capitalizes on the boundless energy and optimism of young people in communities across Canada to combat the numerous environmental challenges facing our planet today, such as climate change and its consequences. It is Canada’s largest children-focused conservation organization specifically committed to educating young people and their families about biodiversity, adopting sustainable behaviours, and empowering them to become directly involved in protecting animals and their habitats.

More than 200,000 members aged 6-12 across all Canadian provinces and territories learn more about climate change and its effects and are shown how they can personally take remedial action, as called Missions. Through its online platform, Earth Rangers offers more than 50,000 Missions every year, making a significant and positive impact on the environment and the local communities. Earth Rangers also teams up with on-the-ground conservation organizations, such as Nature Conservancy of Canada, and researchers to protect species and habitats at risk across Canada.

Power Corporation and Canada Life proudly support Earth Rangers and its mission. We believe that reaching young Canadians at a young age is crucial in instilling much-needed environmental values in our citizens, and ultimately growing the next generation of conservationists to steward our planet. Earth Rangers is a vital part of that effort.

Earth Rangers is proud to partner with Power Corporation of Canada to expand our School Assembly Program and grow our membership across the country.
